The Third Coast

"A Big Splash" At Opening

October 16, 2014

An article by Hope McLeod about my work in a recent exhibit appeared in local online newspapers on Thursday, October 16, 2014:

“WASHBURN — Two oil paintings at CBAC’s annual member show at the Washburn Cultural Center this month tumble out into the room: The Third Coast (58 x 68 inches) and Venus Transit (58 x 42 inches). Both are global in size as well as perspective involving ancient maps and central figures who summersault either downhill or into a giant body of water, symbolically Lake Superior. Each one invites viewers to crawl into and out of this artist’s made-up world, just for the fun of it. ”
